How pricing works for new games:
Our 3.5% revenue share only kicks in when your game is live and earning revenue on Steam. There are no upfront fees, monthly subscriptions, or charges while you're building and preparing your game for launch.
What this means:
- $0 while you're developing
- $0 during your pre-launch/coming soon period
- 3.5% only starts when customers start buying your game
What we handle before launch:
Even before your game is earning money, we take care of:
- Creating your game in our Steamworks account (Steam Direct Fee payment supported)
- US tax compliance and paperwork
- Payment rails setup for when revenue starts flowing
- Direct support from humans when you need help
